About this GB 93 washer
This is a washer made to GB 93, in 65Mn Spring Steel, at strength class Grade 4.8, supplied nickel plated, with an M2 thread. Every dimension is stated against the standard named above; where a tolerance class matters to your design, ask us and we will confirm it in writing before you order.
A washer spreads the clamp load of the fastener over a wider area of the joint face and keeps the turning nut or head from scoring the part underneath. Fitted under bolts, screws and nuts on soft or painted surfaces, slotted holes, and any joint that is taken apart often enough for the face to matter.
M2 is a metric thread with an 2 mm nominal diameter and a coarse pitch of 0.4 mm (ISO 261). A standard hex head takes a 4 mm spanner across the flats.
Nickel plating gives a bright, hard, decorative finish with useful corrosion resistance. Common on furniture and visible hardware.
There is no minimum order and no free-shipping threshold: buy one piece or a full container. Your order total is confirmed in the cart, before payment.
