About this anchor

This is a anchor in 304 Stainless Steel, at strength class A2-70, supplied plain, with an M12 thread and a 80 mm length. Every dimension is stated against the standard named above; where a tolerance class matters to your design, ask us and we will confirm it in writing before you order.

An anchor transfers load from a fixture into masonry or concrete, expanding or bonding against the drilled hole so the fixing develops its strength from the base material. Used for racking, handrails, façades, plant and machinery bases, and any fixing into brick, block or concrete that has to take a working load.

A2-70 ist Edelstahl 304, kaltverfestigt auf mindestens 700 MPa Zugfestigkeit und 450 MPa 0,2-%-Dehngrenze. Es ist die Standard-Edelstahlsorte für Schrauben und Muttern im Allgemeinen.

Plain (self-colour) means no coating. On 304 and 316 stainless that is fine — the alloy passivates on its own. On carbon steel it will rust, so choose a coated option instead.
