About this DIN 916 screw

This is a screw made to DIN 916, in H62 Brass, supplied self colour, with an M5 thread and a 6 mm length. Every dimension is stated against the standard named above; where a tolerance class matters to your design, ask us and we will confirm it in writing before you order.

A screw threads directly into the parent material or into a nut, so the thread form, the point and the drive decide what it can be used for. H62 brass (62% copper) is the common free-cutting brass for screws and nuts: non-magnetic, conductive, corrosion-resistant in fresh water, widely used in electrical and furniture hardware.
